Quotation Sensation #43

As usual, the rules: The first person to comment with the character, actor, and movie that contains this quotation gets a special eyelash batting and a tailor-made Cinema Hype cheer, which might actually rhyme, even if it doesn’t make any sense.
Here goes:
“‘Permission to check on the condition of my woman, sir? I wanna check on her bandages and see if she can keep some food down.’
‘You are aware, of course, that this woman of yours is… made of… straw?’
‘Oh, yes, sir. Figure that’s why she burned so easy.’”

I looked this up on IMDB and I am amazed by two things: 1) that I haven’t seen this before (after reading the other quotes from same) and 2) the delightful quote that also came up in the search by Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady:
“Now what call would a woman with that strength in her have to die of influenza? And what become of her new straw hat that should have come to me? [pause] Somebody pinched it. And what I say is: them ‘as pinched it, done her in.”
Would that still make me smile if it wasn’t Audrey Hepburn? I think so.
