Quotation Sensation #22
As usual, the rules: The first person to comment with the character, actor, and movie that contains that quote gets a special eyelash batting and a tailor-made Cinema Hype cheer, which might even rhyme.
Ready? Go:
“Bless us oh Lord for these thine gifts which we are about to recieve. And uh… ye Lord, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of no food, I shall fear no hunger. We want you to give us our day of daily bread. And to the republic for which it stands… by the powers vested in me, I pronounce us ready to eat. Amen. “

I want to say that it is Leo Dicaprio’s character in that one based-on-fact movie where he plays a professional impostor. Both Leo’s character’s name and the movie’s title I forget, although I’m certain the movie title has something about running (as do the movie poster and the opening credits). And I remember Tom Hanks’ character was Carl Handratty (sp?). And the quoted prayer took place at the dinner where the protagonist first met the parents of his future wife. Now that I’ve recited what I actually remember, I’ll check IMDB.

Boy was I ever wrong. Frank Abagnale Jr’s prayer at that dinner scene in Catch Me if You Can was:
“Two little mice fell into a bucket of cream. The first mouse quickly gave up and drowned, but the second mouse, he struggled so hard that he eventually churned that cream into butter and he walked out. Amen.”

Heh. Wrong, but nice guess!
