Penguins take Bond, but Harry Potter wins all. Of course.

by Liz

Thanksgiving is the time for dancing penguins (but what isn’t the time for dancing penguins?); it seems that Happy Feet remained the number-one movie in the nation over the holiday weekend. James Bond squeezed into second place–apparently, flightless birds are too much for Our Hero–with Casino Royale staying at number two for the second week in a row. Denzel Washington’s new thriller, Deja Vu, took third.

This Thanksgiving weekend was down from last year, but this year didn’t have any Harry Potter films premiering. Maybe we should work on that. David Yates, will you work your magic for us? (Pun only slightly intended.)

Deja Vu was one of the most creative shows I’ve seen this year.

    Aaron.

Yeah, it looks good. I’m sort of afraid it’ll get lost in the shuffle of the season, but the trailer really grabbed me.
